Job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and versatile Digital Multimedia Specialist to support the Marketing & Communications team at Siemens Energy’s Innovation Center Orlando. This role serves as a bridge between creative production and marketing, working closely with the Marketing Lead to develop high-quality visual content that supports internal communications, brand initiatives, events, and marketing programs.

The ideal candidate is a technically skilled media professional with a strong creative mindset and experience managing projects from pre-production through final delivery. The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently, collaborating with internal stakeholders, managing multiple projects and deadlines, and adapting to both studio and on-location production environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute end-to-end video and photography production for small-to-medium-sized internal projects, including:
    • Pre-production: script development, storyboarding, shot-list creation, location scouting, production meetings, scheduling, and project coordination.
    • Production: travel to shooting locations; transport and set up production equipment; operate professional cameras, lighting, and audio equipment; coordinate with clients and production participants; and ensure required photo and video release forms are completed.
    • Post-production: video editing, photo editing, graphic design, formatting, revisions, quality control, and final content delivery.
  • Coordinate filming schedules and production logistics directly with internal clients and stakeholders.
  • Assist the Marketing Lead with budgeting, resource planning, and project coordination for media productions.
  • Support the transition of legacy Siemens Energy media assets to the Omterra brand, including updating photography, video, brochures, banners, flyers, wall graphics, and other branded materials.
  • Conduct facility tours and support the in-house marketing team with visitor and event activities as needed.
  • Support the quarterly campus newsletter, with an emphasis on visual design, layout, and formatting.
  • Maintain an organized and reliable digital media library by regularly backing up, cataloging, and organizing photography and video assets within the organization's SharePoint environment.
  • Create, maintain, and distribute Run of Show documents and related production materials for the annual customer conference.
  • Manage multiple projects and competing deadlines while maintaining quality, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Ensure all work is performed safely and in accordance with applicable safety policies, procedures, and requirements.

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Proficiency with at least one professional non-linear video editing platform, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
  • Experience with Canva and web-based content management systems.
  • Working knowledge of mirrorless, DSLR, or professional cinema camera systems.
  • Working knowledge of studio lighting, professional audio equipment, and interview production techniques.
  • Ability to adapt effectively to changing conditions and requirements during on-location productions.
  • Strong written communication skills, including the ability to support script development and content creation.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions in fast-paced production environments.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Film, Media Production, Communications, Marketing, or a related creative or business discipline.
  • Demonstrated professional experience in photography and videography, including both studio and field production.
  • Experience operating mirrorless, DSLR, or professional cinema camera systems.
  • Experience with RED Digital Cinema cameras is preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of social media best practices and digital content strategy.
  • Understanding of corporate marketing, branding, and visual communication principles.
