Position Overview

As a Digital Merchandising Specialist, you will support the day-to-day execution of e-commerce merchandising across our Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) and Business-to-Business (B2B) sites. You will be responsible for updating homepage, category, product, and promotional content to ensure a seamless online shopping experience that drives product discovery and conversion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the end-to-end merchandising of a new direct-to-consumer site, including product catalog, navigation, taxonomy, visual merchandising and promotions to optimize the customer experience and drive sales.
  • Execute content updates across DTC and B2B ecommerce sites, including homepage banners, product launches, promotions, and category refreshes.
  • Maintain site assortments by updating product categorization, filtering, and sorting.
  • Apply cross-sell and upsell strategies within product and category pages.
  • Ensure all site updates follow brand guidelines and visual standards.
  • Monitor site performance metrics (conversion, click-through, sell-through) and flag opportunities for improvement.
  • Partner with marketing and creative teams to align site updates with campaigns and promotions.
  • Coordinate with inventory/operations teams to ensure products are merchandised based on availability and timelines.
  • Troubleshoot basic content-related issues in collaboration with the web development team.
  • Support additional merchandising tasks as assigned.
  • Collaborate with web development teams to test and implement merchandising tools and troubleshoot content-related issues.
  • May be asked to perform additional duties, as necessary.
Position Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • 1–2 years of experience in ecommerce merchandising or digital content management.
  • Familiarity with ecommerce platforms and basic product/content updates.
  • Basic understanding of digital merchandising and online customer experience best practices.
  • Comfort using analytics or reporting tools (GA4 or similar) to review performance data.
  • Experience with engagement or merchandising platforms (e.g., Klaviyo) a plus.
  • Passion for or knowledge of the coffee industry preferred.
  • Internal Only: Experience with Community Coffee, even if unrelated, may fulfill this requirement at the discretion of the hiring manager with approval from Human Resources
