Job description

The Digital Merchandise Assistant is responsible for all components of product setup, attribution, and ensuring accuracy in the customer-facing experience. This role ensures that the right product is in the right place on Belk.com, requiring proficiency in communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally across all levels of the company.

Essential Functions

• Subject matter expert in product attribution
• Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze, educate, and assist in understanding standards for product attribution, including Search, Taxonomy, & Analytics Teams
• Troubleshoot application issues at all levels
• Partner with Taxonomy, Onsite Search, and SEO teams to develop new navigation points for the website
• Coordinate and document processes, prioritize workloads, and organize training materials
• Define, implement, and manage best practices for product attributes across the business
• Accountable for product setup, review, and execution of changes for products lacking a category on Belk.com

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Experience

• Experience with attribution tools such as Salsify, IBM PIM, etc.
• 1-3 years of experience in product attribution
• Retail industry experience

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• Effective reporting skills in a cross-functional environment
• Strong organizational, analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
• Understanding of retail business processes
