Job summary

CommuniCare Health Services is seeking a Medical Records Coordinator at Southwood Healthcare Center in Terre Haute, IN. You will manage Point Click Care electronic health records from admission to discharge, ensuring accuracy and compliance in a fast-paced post-acute setting.

The role requires a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) credential, a high school diploma or GED, and solid computer skills. Prior medical records experience is preferred, with Point Click Care familiarity a plus.

Qualifications

• Computer proficiency required.
• Point Click Care experience preferred.
• Previous medical records or other relevant healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that active and inactive Point Click Care electronic health records accurately reflect the resident’s condition from admission through discharge.
• Ensure compliance of Point Click Care electronic health records.
• Protect Point Click Care electronic health records from breaches of confidentiality, unauthorized use, theft, and damage.
