Job summary

The University of St. Thomas seeks a Digital Media Systems Specialist to lead the high-level media production infrastructure and related engineering tasks across campus venues. This on-site role requires evening and weekend hours to support events and live productions.

The successful candidate will manage professional video systems, consoles, routers, 4K and networked media, and will train users while staying current with industry trends within a mission-driven university environment.

Qualifications

B.A. or B.S. degree in a relevant field.
Five years of experience developing professional digital media systems and providing technology support.
Graduate degree in a related discipline is preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead digital media production technology transformation across high-profile venues.
Maintain and upgrade professional digital media production systems and troubleshoot complex issues.
Collaborate with production teams and support live events on-site.
Train users and create documentation for production systems.
Remain current with industry trends and new technologies.
