Summary/objective:

The talented and experienced Digital Media Manager will oversee Angels Studios' digital efforts and ensure a cohesive and impactful online presence. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing Angels Studios' website, implementing key performance indicators (KPIs), leading creative campaigns, and supervising a team of digital media specialists. You'll collaborate closely with the Brand Manager and Digital Media Marketers and Support team to align strategies, engage our target audience, and enhance the success of our filmmakers.

Essential functions
  • Implement brand strategy and collaboration on projects while delegating to Social Media Support
  • Ensuring branding consistency across all digital efforts, delivering a cohesive and impactful online presence.
  • Managing our company website, ensuring it remains visually appealing and up-to-date with compelling photography, updated images, and accurate information.
  • Implementing key performance indicators (KPIs) to track digital progress and ensure timely plan adjustments and successful outcomes.
  • Overseeing the development of creative campaigns that captivate our audience and align with our brand vision.
  • Leading content creation efforts across various media channels (web, social, paid partnerships, etc.) to engage our target audience.
  • Compiling individual team analytics and creating comprehensive reports on wider team KPIs, offering insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Supervising a team of digital media specialists, providing guidance, support, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Reviewing social media plans for all brands, offering valuable feedback and insights to optimize our online strategy.
  • Coaching Digital Media Managers on best practices, aligning strategies across the team, and empowering professional growth.
  • Collaborating with Digital Media Managers and the Brand Manager to identify the specific needs of our filmmakers, aligning digital efforts to enhance their success.
  • Develop marketing materials for filmmaker presentations, campaign reports, and digital performance reports.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve tools and processes, including the utilization of AI.
  • Conducting individual meetings with all Digital Media team members to provide feedback, support their professional growth, and offer mentorship.
  • Attending larger department meetings to identify KPIs, share team success, and provide cross-team support.
  • Under the mentorship of the Social Media Manager and under the direction of the Brand Manager:
    • develop and plan social media marketing campaigns for multiple brands
    • Create and maintain a regular social media posting schedule.
    • Create and post unique social media content consistent with intended audience and brand ‘voice’
    • Responsible for the success of all organic posts on social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, etc.).
    • Stay up to date on algorithms, best practices, current social media trends, etc. for each platform.
    • Grow our audience and increase engagement to best achieve set KPIs.
    • Use data to analyze ongoing trends, determine what’s working, what’s not, and reinforce accordingly.
  • Must attend and contribute to regularly scheduled staff meetings.
  • Proficiency in speaking, reading and writing in the English language required. Additional language proficiency is a plus.

Work environment -

When in the main office, expect a comfortable, air-conditioned work environment. Team members are issued their own desks, but the office is an open, shared space and can be fast-paced and occasionally noisy.

Physical demands -

Must be able to either stand or sit at a desk for long periods of time.

Position type and expected hours of work -

Regular full-time, 40 hours per week.

Travel required -

Significant out-of-state travel not anticipated.

Required education and experience
  • At least 2 years experience running social media on behalf of a company, including experience leading a team.
Preferred education and experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in film or entertainment related field.
  • 3+ years experience as Social Media Manager or equivalent.

Must be authorized to work in the United States.
