Job summary

The John Gore Organization, a leading Broadway producer and marketer, seeks a Marketing Generalist to support GSBO marketing, partnerships, and events. You will coordinate VIP invites, manage social media, update the public website and internal CMS, and help maintain archival systems and industry briefings.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365; Office including Excel, and Google Suite is required.
  • Experience with social media content creation including design and editing is a must.
  • Experience with Meta Business Suite is a must.
  • Experience with design software (Canva) is a must.
  • Experience with CRM or ticketing system experience is an asset.
  • Experience with task management software (Asana) is an asset.
  • Experience with html formatting is an asset.
  • Interest in the performing arts and tourism is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Lead event coordination including VIP client invites and staff events.
  • Lead social media planning, content creation, paid campaigns, and community management.
  • Manage content updates to the consumer-facing website as well as the internal CMS.
  • Manage archival and organizational systems, as well as develop new ones to accommodate new initiatives.
  • Maintain industry contact list.
  • Create and distribute internal staff industry briefings and updates.
  • Collaborate on Show-Specific Partnership Account Oversight including creating proposals, on-boarding, budgeting, invoicing, tracking, and reporting.
  • Collaborate on updates and enhancements to the website and CMS, including UX.
  • Collaborate on partnership reporting including sales reports and activation recaps.
  • Collaborate on the scheduling and execution of GSBO and partner emails and newsletters.
  • Collaborate cross-departmentally on data-driven, cross-platform outreach campaigns.
  • Collaborate cross-departmentally on the creation and design of GSBO and Broadway Cooperative marketing materials and collateral.
  • Collaborate cross-departmentally on copywriting for all marketing materials including, e-blasts, blog post, publication advertorials, outreach campaigns.
  • Support the promotion and development of GSBO’s marketing membership programs including the Broadway Cooperative, a multi-partner year-round marketing plan aimed at promoting Broadway throughout the tourism and travel industry, and its various initiatives including in-person sales events, digital placements, and more.

Summary Group Sales Box Office at Broadway.com (GSBO) is looking for a multi-faceted, marketing generalist with experience in partnership management, event coordination, digital marketing, social media content creation, print marketing, copywriting, and organizational systems to support and expand all current marketing and partnerships efforts. This position will report to the Vice President of Marketing, Partnerships, & Insights. They will work alongside the Associate Director, Marketing & Partnerships, and in collaboration with the entire GSBO team including sales, insights, operations, and fulfillment to promote GSBO and its partners to existing and potential group ticket buyers.

Main Responsibilities & Duties
