Liberty Furniture is looking for a hands-on Digital Marketing Manager to help build and execute the next phase of our marketing strategy.
This is an opportunity to help establish a more formal marketing discipline within an established B2B furniture company with a nationwide dealer network. The role will focus heavily on digital marketing and brand development while also coordinating broader marketing activities including PR, website content, campaigns, and outside marketing partners.
This is not primarily a sales support or graphic design position. The Digital Marketing Manager will work closely with Sales, Product, Digital/IT and other teams, while focusing on building the Liberty brand, increasing dealer engagement and creating consumer awareness that supports our retail partners.
The ideal candidate is a marketing generalist who understands digital marketing deeply enough to execute—not simply manage agencies. This person should be comfortable moving between strategy and execution and operating in an environment where resources are lean and priorities move quickly.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Marketing & Marketing Automation
- Own the day-to-day execution of Liberty’s digital marketing strategy.
- Manage email marketing and marketing automation campaigns, including segmentation, testing, optimization and reporting.
- Work with outside partners to implement and evolve Liberty’s marketing automation platform.
- Develop targeted dealer campaigns based on customer behavior, purchasing patterns, product categories and business priorities.
- Use campaign and customer data to continually improve engagement and results.
Brand & Consumer Marketing
- Help develop and maintain a consistent Liberty brand voice, positioning and visual presence.
- Develop campaigns that increase awareness of Liberty among both furniture retailers and consumers.
- Manage Liberty’s organic social media strategy and publishing calendar.
- Identify opportunities for PR, earned media, partnerships and other cost-effective brand-building initiatives.
- Work with the Product team to turn existing photography, product information and other assets into effective marketing content.
Website & Digital Experience
- Work with our webmaster and serve as the marketing owner for website content and marketing-related website initiatives.
- Coordinate website updates, landing pages, promotional content and other marketing requirements with internal and external development resources.
- Help improve the consumer journey from product discovery to finding a Liberty retailer.
- Support SEO and content initiatives designed to increase qualified organic traffic and brand visibility.
- Use Google Analytics and other tools to understand digital behavior and identify opportunities for improvement.
Marketing Planning & Coordination
- Develop and maintain Liberty’s marketing calendar across email, social, website, PR and other channels.
- Coordinate campaigns with Product, Sales and company leadership.
- Manage outside resources including copywriters, designers, agencies and other marketing partners.
- Help establish repeatable processes for campaign planning, execution, measurement and reporting.
- Track marketing performance and communicate results, learnings and recommendations to leadership.
What We’re Looking For
- 3–6 years of hands-on marketing experience, preferably in B2B, consumer products, retail, home furnishings or a related industry.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, including email, marketing automation, social media, SEO and web analytics.
- Experience with marketing automation or email platforms such as Klaviyo, HubSpot, Mailchimp or similar tools.
- Working knowledge of Google Analytics/GA4 and digital performance measurement.
- Experience developing and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to coordinate agencies and outside resources while remaining hands-on with execution.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working across departments and managing multiple priorities.
- Practical, resourceful mindset and ability to accomplish meaningful work without a large team or budget.
What Success Looks Like
The successful candidate will help Liberty move from individual marketing activities to a coordinated marketing program that:
- Builds greater awareness of the Liberty brand.
- Creates more relevant and consistent communication with our dealer network.
- Uses digital marketing and automation to generate measurable dealer engagement and incremental revenue.
- Builds consumer awareness that creates demand through our retail partners.
- Establishes a consistent marketing calendar and measurement discipline.
- Makes better use of the content, customer relationships and digital assets Liberty already has.
- This is a hands‑on role with the opportunity to have a significant impact on how an established national furniture company approaches marketing and builds its brand.
