Job summary

The Digital Web Experience Marketing intern will work with our web experience team to improve customer experience across brand websites. Located in Downers Grove, IL, you will analyze user behavior to inform website improvements and features, reporting to the Manager of Web/Digital Experience.

As part of the intern program you will run reports, share analyses, and help optimize content, SEO, and conversions.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, IT, CS or related field.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.

• Residents of Chicagoland area; Downers Grove office.

The Digital Web Experience Marketing intern will work closely with our web experience team in executing strategies to continually improve and harmonize the customer experience across brand websites. This individual will analyze user behavior to inform and identify brand website improvements and features. The position is located in Downers Grove, IL and will report to the Manager of Web/Digital Experience.

As a part of the intern program, you will have the opportunity to take advantage of the following:

• Networking Events - Zurn Elkay hosts multiple networking opportunities in the Summer that give you exposure to other interns, the leadership team, and executive leaders.
• Coaching and Mentoring - You will have a structured on boarding process to introduce you to Zurn Elkay's corporate culture and provide you with regular feedback.
• Real Work Experience - Our internship process does not include getting coffee for your boss or running copies. We will provide you with a real opportunity to run reports, share your analysis, and improve our processes.

This position will be onsite in our Downers Grove, IL office

Key Accountabilities

• Manage website content and understand the process for updating websites.
• Measure the effectiveness of website(s) against goals by creating analytic reports.
• Improve user experience and conversion by identifying and executing website improvements.
• Increase organic website traffic by identifying and implementing SEO improvements.
• Work closely with Marketing and IT to achieve goals.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree with a major or minor in Marketing, Information Technology, Computer Science or other related disciplines.
• Great problem solving and communication skills, is detail oriented and is comfortable working in a fast, agile environment.
• Passion to work in a collaborative and inclusive environment.
• Interested in latest web experience trends
• Experience working in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience working in SEO/AEO/GEO a plus
• Reside in Chicagoland area (office is based in Downers Grove)
