Job summary

Industrial Power Solutions, a Sundt Company, seeks a Digital Marketing Coordinator to support business development, customer communication, recruiting, and training initiatives. This role concentrates on graphic design for electronic and print media and collaborates with IPS teams to turn ideas and technical information into clear, on-brand content.

The ideal candidate is creative, organized, and detail oriented, with strong visual design, writing, and project management skills.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or equivalent training in graphic design, marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Two or more years of experience in graphic design, marketing coordination, communications, or a similar field.
  • Portfolio demonstrating relevant graphic design and marketing work.

Responsibilities

  • Design and produce branded electronic and print materials, including flyers, brochures, project sheets, signage, recruiting materials, internal communications, and event materials.
  • Create professional graphics, layouts, and visual content that are accurate, easy to understand, and consistent with IPS brand standards.
  • Maintain approved templates, brand assets, photo libraries, and marketing materials so teams can efficiently use consistent and current resources.
  • Keep the IPS website current by coordinating updates to company information, project information, team information, images, and other approved content.
  • Plan, create, schedule, and publish social media content that supports IPS goals and communicates with customers, potential employees, industry partners, and other audiences.
  • Coordinate with internal subject matter experts to identify timely stories, project milestones, employee recognition, safety messages, and other content opportunities.
  • Assist with customer proposals, qualification packages, presentations, resumes, project sheets, capability statements, and other business development materials.
  • Create and improve presentations for customer meetings, lunch and learns, training sessions, and internal communications.
  • Improve existing presentations through stronger design, readability, consistency, and audience focus while maintaining technical accuracy.
  • Meet with internal requestors to understand the purpose, audience, scope, timeline, and desired outcome for each marketing request.
  • Manage multiple marketing projects and deadlines while communicating progress with internal teams.
  • Coordinate reviews and approvals to ensure materials are accurate, complete, and delivered on time.
  • Track marketing requests and recurring needs to improve planning, turnaround time, and quality.
  • Maintain organized and current marketing materials, templates, brand assets, and content libraries.

Job description

Industrial Power Solutions, a Sundt Company, is seeking a Digital Marketing Coordinator to support business development, customer communication, employee engagement, recruiting, and training initiatives. This role is heavily focused on graphic design for electronic and print media and works closely with teams throughout IPS to turn ideas and technical information into clear, engaging, and professional content.

The ideal candidate is creative, organized, detail oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines. This position requires strong visual design skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work with different departments to understand their needs and deliver polished, on-brand materials.

Work Location: Tempe, AZ
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities
Graphic Design and Brand Materials
  • Design and produce branded electronic and print materials, including flyers, brochures, project sheets, signage, recruiting materials, internal communications, and event materials.
  • Create professional graphics, layouts, and visual content that are accurate, easy to understand, and consistent with IPS brand standards.
  • Maintain approved templates, brand assets, photo libraries, and marketing materials so teams can efficiently use consistent and current resources.
Website and Social Media
  • Keep the IPS website current by coordinating updates to company information, project information, team information, images, and other approved content.
  • Plan, create, schedule, and publish social media content that supports IPS goals and communicates with customers, potential employees, industry partners, and other audiences.

Proposal and Presentation Support
  • Assist with customer proposals, qualification packages, presentations, resumes, project sheets, capability statements, and other business development materials.
  • Create and improve presentations for customer meetings, lunch and learns, training sessions, and internal communications.
  • Improve existing presentations through stronger design, readability, consistency, and audience focus while maintaining technical accuracy.
Content Coordination and Project Management
  • Meet with internal requestors to understand the purpose, audience, scope, timeline, and desired outcome for each marketing request.
  • Manage multiple marketing projects and deadlines while communicating progress with internal teams.
  • Coordinate reviews and approvals to ensure materials are accurate, complete, and delivered on time.

Special Projects
  • Support company events, training, recruiting, community involvement, and other internal and external initiatives.
  • Work with teams throughout IPS to identify opportunities to highlight projects, employees, company capabilities, and company culture.
  • Perform other duties as needed to support IPS business objectives.
  • Associate degree or equivalent training in graphic design, marketing, communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Two or more years of experience in graphic design, marketing coordination, communications, or a similar field.
  • Portfolio demonstrating relevant graphic design and marketing work.
  • Strong visual design skills, including layout, typography, color, image selection, and preparation of files for digital and print use.
  • Proficiency with common design, presentation, website content, and social media tools.
  • Strong writing, proofreading, organizational, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to take direction, ask thoughtful questions, and work effectively with a variety of internal teams.
  • Ability to take technical information and turn it into clear, audience appropriate content.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage changing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Adobe Creative Cloud experience.
  • Experience supporting a construction, industrial, engineering, professional services, or business to business organization.
  • Experience managing website content and social media.
  • Experience creating proposals, qualification packages, presentations, or other business development materials.
  • Experience with photography and photo editing.
  • Experience working with technical information or communicating complex subjects to different audiences.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and electronically.
  • Ability to occasionally lift or move materials up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to occasionally stoop, kneel, bend, stand, or walk short distances throughout the workday.
  • Frequent use of hands to grasp, handle, carry, and operate office and computer equipment.
  • Ability to use computers, telephones, email, and other electronic devices frequently throughout the workday.
  • May occasionally visit project sites, vendor locations, or company events.
  • Must be able to comply with applicable safety standards and procedures.
