Job description

Join to apply for the Digital Manufacturing Sr. Scrum Master role at Eaton.

This position will indirectly lead, oversee, and manage one or more product and software development teams as a servant leader. The Scrum Master will be involved in Global Manufacturing Automation IT projects including Ignition software, Scada, HMi, MES Systems. Eaton is leading in Industry 4.0 AI automation to increase product efficiencies and performance.

The Scrum Master will ensure teams follow Agile practices and Scrum values, work to increase efficiency, motivate, and support adoption of Agile across the enterprise. Responsibilities include facilitating Scrum events, removing impediments, working with Product Owners, and coordinating across teams to ensure alignment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies
  • Promote secure product development with cybersecurity focus
  • Mentor teams on Agile principles
  • Assist in product roadmapping and backlog management
  • Track and report Agile metrics
  • Coordinate with other teams and manage dependencies
  • Create a safe environment for issue resolution
  • Manage capacity planning and stakeholder communication
Qualifications
Basic:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 7+ years IT experience on Agile teams
  • 5+ years as Scrum Master in a large organization
  • Experience leading complex software projects
  • Residency within 50 miles of the role location
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
Preferred:
  • Experience supporting manufacturing IT projects
  • Knowledge of Digital Manufacturing, Industry 4.0
  • Scrum Master Certification
  • Experience with Ignition, MES, DevSecOps, cloud services
  • Strong communication and coaching skills
