Job summary

WestRock is seeking a Sr IT Business Analyst - Digital Manufacturing in Georgia with remote work options. You will support cutting‑edge applications for the pulp and paper sector, providing primary IT business and application support in containerboard and consumer mill facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• At least one year as a PI System Administrator or similar role.
• 5 years overall experience in a similar role.
• Familiar with manufacturing practices and terminology, DCS, PLCs and OPC interfaces.
• Proficient with MS Excel and Windows environments.
• Knowledge of MS SQL and Active Directory.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an Aveva (PI System) expert to implementation teams and key users.
• Work with business personnel to understand needs and design solutions.
• Support all installed Aveva components (PI data archive, PI-AF, PI Notifications, PI Vision).
• Develop specifications for Aveva configurations and interfaces; ensure proper integration with Mill Systems.
• Document processes, configurations, and end-user training materials.
• Identify improvement opportunities and manage implementation plans.
• Provide data analysis and troubleshooting services.
• Coordinate with IT and external contractors in a fast-paced environment.
