Job summary

Clear Channel Outdoor is seeking a Digital Maintenance Technician in Marietta, GA to provide preventative maintenance and repair of LED billboards and related components, troubleshoot systems, and support network hardware/software.

Responsibilities include climbing structures up to 200 ft, opening/closing tickets, working with high/low voltage power and data networks, and coordinating with the Operations team. Strong documentation and safety compliance are required.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, or equivalent combination of education, training, experience.
  • Working knowledge of electrical skills and wiring for signage.
  • Experience with electronics, digital displays, or networks preferred.
  • Ability to use computers, networks, and communications gear.
  • Able to document work clearly and work in a team.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot digital display products and diagnose systems in a timely, quality-conscious manner.
  • Climb billboard structures and work at heights up to 200 ft for extended periods.
  • Open, close tickets and track work with appropriate systems and apps.
  • Work with high/low voltage power distribution and data networking.
  • Analyze problems, communicate with Manager and network operations center.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance requests.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
  • Operate aerial lift equipment as needed.
  • Install Out of Home advertising copy to assist Static Install Crew.
  • Maintain and track warehouse inventory of parts and tools.
  • Handle shipping and receiving of tools and parts for LED billboards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

The Digital Maintenance Technician is responsible for providing preventative maintenance and repair of existing LED Billboards and related components including but not limited to troubleshooting/diagnostics, maintenance, support of network hardware/software, and communication links in support of our advertising clients.

Job Responsibilities
  • Responsible for troubleshooting digital display products, systems, and processes and accurately diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair these systems in timely and quality-conscious manner.
  • Climb billboard structures, working at heights of up to 200' for extended periods.
  • Utilize appropriate systems, mobile applications to open, close tickets and track work.
  • Work with high/low voltage power distribution and data communication/networking.
  • Analyze problems, communicate with Manager, and network operations center.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance requests.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
  • Operation of aerial lift equipment.
  • Install Out of Home (OOH) advertising copy on an auxiliary basis to assist Static Install Crew.
  • Maintain and keep track of warehouse inventory.
  • Shipping and receiving tools and parts associated with LED Billboards
  • Other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications

Education and Certifications:

  • High School Diploma, or equivalent combination of education, training, experience, or military experience.

Work Experience:

  • Working knowledge of electrical skills and techniques and an understanding of electrical requirements for wiring general signage.
  • Experience safely utilizing construction tools / equipment and working on digital displays or electronics, strongly preferred.
  • Experience with computers, networks, communications gear, and other electronic components.

Skills:

  • Able to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Able to complete appropriate documentation and reports.
  • Able to operate with tools and carry ladders in a safe and effective manner.
  • Competent in Microsoft software applications (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).

  • Working outdoors with the ability to work in adverse weather conditions and climb to heights up to 150 ft.
