Job summary

Goodwill Industries of the Columbia is seeking a Digital Literacy Program Coordinator to bring digital skills, literacy resources, and tech navigation support to the region. You will lead a team of instructors, develop curricula, and deliver programs to expand access to digital literacy training, fostering self-sufficiency and career advancement.

Responsibilities

• Observe the work of the team to evaluate performance and recommend changes that could strengthen teaching skills.
• Advise staff in curriculum development, use of materials and equipment, and implementation of state and federal programs/procedures.
• Address public audiences to explain program objectives and elicit support.
• Research, evaluate, and prepare recommendations on curricula, instructional methods, and materials of the program.
• Analyze performance data to determine the effectiveness of courses or instructional materials.
• Provide analytical support for the design and development of training curricula, learning strategies, and course/program standards.
• Prepare and maintain a toolkit resource for the team’s standards, processes, and policies.
• Use computers, AV, and other equipment/materials to supplement procedures.
• Attend staff meetings and serve on committees as required.
• Attend professional meetings, conferences and workshops to maintain and improve professional competence.
• Participate in publicity planning, community awareness efforts, and student recruitment.
• Confer with other staff members to plan and schedule lessons that promote learning, following approved curricula.
• Collect and present data & trends
• Maintain accurate and complete student records as required by law or administrative policies.
• Able to teach digitally and in-person.
• Work with our Employment Connection Center staff to refer clients to services and provide initial data to determine program eligibility as a part of the process.
• Safely operate motor vehicles for company business in accordance with all applicable laws, company policies, and insurance eligibility requirements.
• Perform all duties in a timely, organized and efficient manner
• Adhere to the highest level of confidentiality, keeping private all client, employee, contract, human resource, and payroll information with acute attention to information which would diminish dignity/reputation of individuals and the Agency.
• Keep immediate supervisor informed of any problems or unusual situations and/or actions.

This is a critical role in bringing digital skills/literacy and tech navigation resources to people throughout Goodwill OTC’s region. This role will work with a team of Digital Literacy Instructors and other workforce development professionals in a team approach. The Digital Literacy Program Coordinator develops and delivers curricula, events, and other initiatives that expand access to digital literacy training throughout Goodwill’s service region, helping community members achieve greater self-sufficiency and career advancement.

• Possess a valid state-issued driver’s license for at least three (3) years, good driving record, ability to provide own transportation, and proof of current automobile insurance.

• Have excellent personal computer skills, including Windows 11 OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and Internet search engines. Experience with Canva preferred, but not required.

This position qualifies for the following benefits:

Starting Rate: $25.00, with eligibility for annual performance-based increases. Maximum pay is $28.12, achievable through sustained good performance and years of service.

Job Location:

Currently 3521 W Court Street, Suite B, Pasco, WA. This position is expected to move to the Goodwill on Wrigley street in Pasco, WA in Fall, 2026.

Work Schedule

Full time, hourly position. Days and hours are dependent on business needs, but will occur primarily Monday through Friday, 8-4:30pm.
