Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics seeks an ELN Lead to drive deployment of electronic lab notebooks across our sites and regions. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage configurations, integrations, and validation to deliver scalable, compliant informatics solutions.

The role requires a deep understanding of laboratory operations, data integrity, and regulated environments, plus experience with architecture, testing, release management, and vendor governance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IT, life sciences, engineering or business.
  • 5+ years implementing, supporting, or managing laboratory informatics systems (ELNs, LIMS, instruments, integrations).
  • Experience deploying ELN solutions across multiple sites or regions.
  • Strong understanding of laboratory operations, quality control, data flows, and regulated environments.
  • Experience with architecture, configuration, integration, testing, validation, release management and lifecycle support.
  • Experience leading medium- to large-scale cross-functional, multi-regional projects.
  • Experience managing outsourced support providers/vendor-delivered solutions.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.

Job description

Digital Lab Platforms - ELN Lead
Responsibilities / How You Will Contribute:
  • Lead ELN (electronic laboratory notebook) deployment and support across Takeda sites and regions.
  • Manage cross-functional, multi-project teams delivering scalable and compliant solutions.
  • Oversee solution delivery across architecture, configuration, integration, testing, validation, implementation, and lifecycle support.
  • Govern vendor-delivered solutions to ensure quality, compliance, performance, and alignment with standards.
  • Drive program execution by managing priorities, timelines, dependencies, risks, deliverables, and business outcomes.
  • Build team capability through resource planning, coaching, knowledge sharing, and delegation.
  • Partner with stakeholders and vendors for alignment, adoption, issue resolution, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage project finances (planning, budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, and financial controls).
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, life sciences, engineering, business, or related; relevant equivalent experience considered.
  • 5+ years implementing, supporting, or managing laboratory informatics systems (including ELNs, LIMS, instruments, and integrations).
  • Experience deploying/standardizing ELN solutions across multiple sites or regions.
  • Strong understanding of laboratory operations, quality control processes, data flows, system integration, data integrity, and regulated environments.
  • Experience with architecture, configuration, customization, integration, testing, validation, release management, and lifecycle support.
  • Experience leading medium- to large-scale cross-functional, multi-regional projects from requirements through implementation and support.
  • Experience managing outsourced support providers/vendor-delivered solutions.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, analytical/problem-solving, prioritization, and stakeholder-management skills; fluent written and spoken English.
