The Senior Server Engineer is dedicated to architecting and sustaining high-performance, low-maintenance, and highly available server platforms that support critical business operations. This role involves hands-on management and optimization of the company's server infrastructure, providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
Key responsibilities include leading complex IT projects, performing comprehensive system analyses, and overseeing the full lifecycle of business‑critical IT systems. This role involves close collaboration with Group and Division leadership, subject matter experts, and third‑party vendors to guarantee solutions are aligned with organizational objectives and adhere to industry best practices.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related area (or international equivalent)
4 + years related IT experience
Experienced in managing Dell VxRail, Nutanix, and comparable hyper‑converged infrastructure platforms.
Proficient in managing and optimizing virtual machine environments utilizing vSphere and VMware.
Proficient in using orchestration and automation tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Familiar with third‑party IT service providers and effective vendor management practices.
Certifications from leading server vendors such as Dell, HP, or Cisco are highly desirable.
Experience with open‑source tools like GIT and Ansible.
This position is subject to meeting U.S. export compliance and/or U.S. Government contracting citizenship eligibility requirements.
