Job summary

Daikin Applied, a world-leading HVAC company, seeks a Digital (IT) Intern to contribute to technology projects tied to real business needs. You will gather requirements, analyze processes, and translate needs into practical tech solutions, while collaborating with engineers and business partners.

Eligible students are pursuing CS/IS/IT/Data Science and related fields, with expected graduation between Dec 2027 and May 2029.

Qualifications

Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in a related field with anticipated graduation Dec 2027–May 2029.
Experience with programming, databases, analytics, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, networking, enterprise applications, or process automation preferred.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Responsibilities

Own or support a meaningful technology project aligned with an approved Digital or IT team need.
Gather requirements, analyze business processes, and translate needs into practical technology solutions.
Support projects involving applications, data and analytics, infrastructure, cybersecurity, automation, enterprise systems, or user experience.
Assist with testing, documentation, issue resolution, data validation, or process improvement.
Collaborate with technical and business partners and present project outcomes to stakeholders.
