Job summary

Texas Instruments is seeking a senior IP Designer to lead the design, architecture and verification of embedded IP blocks for processors and microcontrollers. You will drive requirements, design and implementation to ensure high quality, reliable IP across SoC platforms.

You will collaborate with SoC Design, Verification, Validation, and Marketing teams to deliver IP from concept to release, while leveraging Verilog, SystemVerilog and Cadence tools to ensure industry-leading performance and

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Design/RTL/DV development.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Hands-on front-end design experience of complex multi clock domain IP blocks.
• Ability to convert high level system requirements into micro-architectural changes and then into RTL.
• Must know Verilog and be familiar with simulation and waveform debugging tools.

Responsibilities

• Be a key team member from IP requirement definition till release to market, working closely with cross-functional teams.
• Define or enhance the micro-architecture for digital IP blocks.
• RTL development and QC flows to ensure superior IP quality.
• Interface with 3rd party IP vendors and drive requirements and delivery milestones/quality.
• Work with IP verification team to build verification plans and tests; support functional debugs.
• Support IP during silicon bring-up activities, test program development, and customer engagement.
