Job summary

4over is seeking a Digital and G4M Department Lead to drive performance, reliability, and consistency across press operations. You will lead production scheduling, enforce preventive maintenance programs, and monitor KPIs to ensure efficient, high-quality printing.

This role serves as the technical expert for HP/Rollem/Canon equipment and related systems, leading continuous improvement and standardizing best practices across shifts.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of Digital / G4M experience (HP & Canon presses a plus)
• Five to seven years of active leadership experience in print production
• Strong knowledge of press systems and color control
• Experience with PM programs and performance tracking is preferred
• Experience with press reporting and color management tools is preferred
• Continuous Improvement or Lean Manufacturing exposure is preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute daily production scheduling for Digital & G4M press operations, dynamically adjusting priorities to meet production demands and deadlines
• Collaborate with management, production coordination, press, and post-press finishing teams to optimize workflow
• Develop and enforce preventive maintenance programs for equipment sets to maximize uptime
• Monitor maintenance effectiveness and reduce downtime with internal teams and OEM support
• Track KPIs such as press speeds, waste, make-ready times, and color accuracy to drive efficiency
• Identify performance gaps and implement data-driven improvements to enhance OEE across shifts
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on waste reduction and productivity
• Standardize best practices for equipment setup, operation, and color management
• Utilize advanced automation and quality control technologies including HP Print OS
• Diagnose and resolve complex equipment issues and implement corrective actions
• Provide technical expertise in color management and equipment troubleshooting
• Train and mentor operators on equipment, processes, and SOPs
• Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and training materials
• Provide leadership to multi-shift teams and coordinate across shifts
