Job summary

RTX in McKinney, TX is seeking a hands-on engineer to join the Multi-Product Power & Digital team. At Raytheon, the Multi-Product Power & Digital Department is responsible for FPGA and hardware designs for electronic warfare, radar, and effector products. Job responsibilities of this role include activities such as troubleshooting electronics in a lab or production environment, performing system and circuit level analysis, supporting failure investigations, maintaining and creating documentation, hardware and/or logic design, and interacting with multi-disciplinary groups including suppliers.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major obtained by start date.
• Experience with one or more of the following: Analog, Digital Electronics, Mixed Signal, Circuit Design or Analysis, Electrical Components, Digital Signal Processing, or PCB design.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Digital, Analog, and/or Power electronics coursework.
• Lab experience with hardware/software integration, test equipment, test automation scripting, test conduction, sensor control.
• Demonstrated experience with VHDL or Verilog coding, simulation, and synthesis.
• Knowledge of electrical circuit design, analysis and troubleshooting using common lab equipment.

This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products. The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
