Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Digital Glass Printing & Graphic Design Operator to join our team and contribute to our growth at our manufacturing plants.

Responsibilities:

• Provide graphic support, file preparation, and optimization for architectural, interior, and exterior design projects.
• Acquire knowledge of printer and ink technologies relevant to digital glass printing.
• Become proficient in printing software, RIP, and basic printer operations.
• Ensure quality assurance for post-printed and tempered products.
• Offer phone and email support to customers, helping them determine the appropriate files needed for samples and projects.
• Attend training sessions for software updates and upgrades as necessary.
• Meet or exceed individual and team goals and objectives.
• Coordinate directly with customers to understand and bring their vision to life, often with minimal initial guidance.
• Manage a complex production line, ensuring consistent output and maintaining high-quality standards with almost no tolerance for error.
• Implement and adhere to maintenance and safe operation procedures to ensure the longevity and reliability of the production line.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic arts or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience as a graphics operator.
• Knowledge of the preparation and operation of wide-format digital printers is a plus.
• Experience with file preparation for printing.
• Ability to execute graphic design projects for digital printing.
• Familiarity with color management in printing.
• Strong communication skills for conveying graphic information to customers, architects, and designers.
• Customer-focused with excellent follow-up skills.
• Proficient in computer skills, particularly Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• High level of attention to detail and a strong focus on quality.
• Ability to manage and operate a complex production line, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
