Job summary

Penn State is seeking a Digital Gift Planning Officer to support the Division of Development and Alumni Relations (DDAR) in the Office of Gift Planning. You will articulate needs and manage marketing to generate leads and solicit bequests.

Reporting to the Director of Gift Planning, you will coordinate with Colleges, Campuses, and Units, analyze campaign results, and help steward Atherton Society members while expanding donor engagement through technology and compelling communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination.
• Familiarity with planned giving vehicles and donor tax laws.
• Experience with donor tracking software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Articulate Penn State’s needs and values through communications.
• Support marketing initiatives to generate, evaluate, and solicit leads.
• Coordinate with internal partners and external vendors on marketing.
• Solicit and close bequests; steward Atherton Society members.
• Analyze results of marketing efforts to improve impact.
