Job summary

Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) seeks a Digital Fundraising Coordinator to join our creative communications team in Washington, DC. This role puts you on the front lines of defending democracy by growing online giving and donor engagement.

You will collaborate across Development and Digital teams, edit and build donation pages, manage SMS fundraising, analyze performance, and shape timely, effective digital fundraising campaigns.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4+ years of digital fundraising experience in nonprofit/government/campaign settings.
• Experience creating and managing time-sensitive materials.
• Demonstrated commitment to high-quality written work.
• Interest in government ethics and money in politics issues.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Comfort with database management and timely updates.
• Initiative to identify needs, take charge, and execute in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills with ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison between Development and Digital teams, providing insights into donor outreach activities.
• Collaborate on digital fundraising content for grassroots and high-dollar donors that reflects CREW’s voice and inspires contributions.
• Manage editing, coding, targeting and approval of grassroots fundraising emails.
• Coordinate with Development on online donor engagement opportunities.
• Create optimized donor experiences, including drafting, testing, and building donation pages.
• Lead and grow CREW’s SMS fundraising program.
• Monitor analytics and testing for online fundraising performance.
• Analyze responses to emails and texts to refine messaging and donor analytics.
• Brainstorm digital messaging and the calendar with the digital team.
