Job summary

The Huntington National Bank is seeking an IS Technical Specialist to join our Commercial Digital IT team in Columbus, OH. You will design and implement customer-facing digital applications using React, Angular, and Java, building rich internet applications and REST APIs for our commercial clients.

You will develop UI components, translate design mockups, review code, and contribute to end-to-end solutions while mentoring teammates and aligning with enterprise architecture and security

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• Five years of application development experience with Angular, Java/JavaScript, React, SOAP or REST services.
• Experience with Microservices and Spring Boot.

Responsibilities

• Support Commercial Digital IT team to design and implement customer-facing digital applications.
• Develop UI with React, Angular and REST APIs for commercial customers.
• Review code and mentor junior team members while ensuring performance and security standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end software solutions.
