Qualifications

• Minimum one year of continuous service with EBRSO.
• Louisiana P.O.S.T. Certification current or ability to obtain.
• Valid driver’s license and firearms qualification.
• No disciplinary suspension within the last six months.

Responsibilities

• Collect, preserve, analyze, and safeguard digital evidence with forensic integrity.
• Conduct examinations of computers, mobile devices, storage media, cloud services, and other devices.
• Recover deleted, encrypted, or inaccessible data using forensic tools.
• Maintain documentation of evidence handling, examinations, and investigations.
• Ensure chain-of-custody procedures are followed and documented.
• Prepare detailed forensic reports for investigations, prosecutions, and court.
