Job summary

Longeviti LLC is seeking a Digital Forensic Examiner with an active TS clearance and SCI eligibility to support NCIS in Great Lakes, IL. Five+ years of experience with Cellebrite UFED4PC/Physical Analyzer, FTK, and OSForensics are required, along with relevant certifications (SANS FOR 500/585 or FBI CART).

Responsibilities include detailed examinations for NCIS cases, testifying as SME in court, coordinating with NCIS divisions, and testing new network-based investigative tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years digital forensics experience using Cellebrite UFED4PC/Physical Analyzer.
• Certification in SANS FOR 500 or FOR 585; DCITA DoD Digital Forensic Examiner or FBI CART is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct complex, non-destructive evaluations of target computer systems to determine operating and file systems, ownership, and access methodology.
• Provide detailed forensic examinations for NCIS cases.
• Document artifacts and deliverables using approved templates in coordination with NCIS Divisions.
• Testify in court proceedings as a SME and evaluate network-based investigative tools and monitoring technologies.
• Write SQL queries to retrieve and verify data; conduct log analysis to support investigations.
• Provide emergent forensic response support and liaise between field agents and NCIS analysts.
