Job summary

Resource Label Group is seeking a Digital Finishing Operator to join our manufacturing team. The operator will set up and run label inspection machines, perform visual quality checks, and slit printed material into specified widths.

Responsibilities include reading job specs, selecting dies and cores, and ensuring packaging readiness. The role requires basic math, ability to read measurements, and physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• 1 year in manufacturing, printing or packaging preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals and instructions.
• Ability to perform basic math and read rulers/measurement devices.
• Must stand/walk regularly and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Receives job assignments and selects dies, cores and rewind method.
• Reviews job jacket for finishing, packaging and shipping specs.
• Inspects products for quality and packages finished goods.
• Monitors material flow to detect irregular cuts and winding.
• Performs preventative maintenance and replaces blades.
• Completes paperwork and prepares shipments.
