Job summary

Arapahoe County Government is seeking a Digital Evidence Technician to preserve and archive digital evidence, process media, and support discovery requests. The role involves handling body-worn camera data, photos, and audio while maintaining security and chain of custody.

The position is hourly, full-time, based in Centennial, CO, with a posted range and a DOQ final salary. Candidates should be detail-oriented and able to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required and one year of general office experience or equivalent.
• Must possess CPR and First Aid certification within the initial status period.
• Experience with digital photography and computerized processing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide discovery to the District Attorney’s Office, including BWC video, photos, and audio files.
• Manage digital evidence, maintain storage, and respond to requests from internal and external sources.
• Operate digital processing equipment and ensure chain of custody for evidence.
