Job summary

The Kings County District Attorney’s Office (KCDA) is seeking an Intelligence Analyst to join the Digital Evidence Lab. The role involves reviewing digital evidence, creating visual aids, and presenting analyses in grand jury and court proceedings.

Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s degree, law enforcement experience, and strong communication skills. Responsibilities include daily reporting, training, and supporting complex investigations within Brooklyn’s DA office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college.
• Experience in or familiarity with digital evidence and investigations preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to present complex analyses clearly.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze digital evidence for investigations and cases.
• Create visual aids (video compilations, maps, presentations) for grand jury and trial use.
• Testify before grand jury or trial regarding analyses and data.
• Provide daily crime activity reports to executives and attorneys.
• Assist in training other analysts and ADAs on protocols and digital evidence usage.
• Assist in complex investigations and trainings.
