ARCTOS Technology Solutions, LLC is seeking a Data Architect to lead the development of a next-generation Digital Engineering Environment for AFRL's Air Platform Division. You will architect the layered environment, integrate test data, models, and workflows, and enable traceability across engineering data.

Qualifications

• Mechanical, Aerospace, Systems, or Computational Engineering background.
• Understanding of experimental mechanics and structural testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop the overall architecture for a layered digital engineering environment.
• Collaborate with modeling and experimental engineers to map workflows and data products.
• Design and implement the initial engineering data model and metadata schema.
• Develop automated pipelines for ingesting, organizing, processing, and managing data.
• Establish interfaces between test data, finite element models, computational workflows, and engineering applications.
• Design digital threads that preserve relationships between requirements, configurations, tests, analyses, and certification evidence.
• Prototype dashboards and engineering applications that visualize and correlate data.
• Evaluate Azure, Teamcenter, Aras, Palantir, and similar technologies and advise deployment aligned with program goals.
• Document architecture decisions, standards, and best practices.
