Job description

The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB) has an exciting opportunity as the Digital & E-Commerce Marketing Chief, leading and managing the digital and e-commerce marketing initiatives within the Bureau of Marketing Communications, Branding & Design (MCBAD). This leadership role involves overseeing web content, digital promotions, email marketing, social media strategy, and performing a range of supervisory duties. Apply with us today!


This position will manage all digital marketing efforts for Fine Wine & Good Spirits. The selected candidate will provide strategic guidance on e-commerce promotions, content navigation, and site functionality to enhance the FWGS.com user experience and work to strengthen the PLCB's digital presence and consumer engagement on FWGS.com, on social media, email marketing and in stores. The key responsibilities for this role include overseeing all digital marketing including email and social media, monitoring online engagement and sales, optimizing promotional outcomes, managing and ensuring the accuracy of e-commerce content for FWGS.com, and developing strategies to drive engagement, traffic and sales.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to three days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • One year as a PLCB Marketing Analyst 2; or
  • Three years of professional marketing, advertising, or merchandising experience and a bachelor’s degree; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.

  • You must pass a background investigation. An applicant with a felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment is not permitted to work for the PLCB, per section 210(c) of the Pennsylvania Liquor Code.
