Job summary

Autumn, a vertical AI startup, seeks a Digital Designer for Web, Email & Social (Internship or Freelance). Help shape digital presence across websites, email and social channels for Autumn and hotel clients, taking ownership of a varied design stream to establish a distinctive brand identity.

This role offers ongoing collaboration with potential to grow into a full-time position. Remote-friendly with an optional Williamsburg office location, compensation starts with internship or freelance

Digital Designer — Web, Email & Social (Internship or Freelance)

Autumn is a vertical AI startup supporting independent hotels. We’re looking for someone who can become our go-to digital designer, helping shape everything we put out across web, email, and social—for Autumn itself and for our hotel customers.

This is an opportunity to build an ongoing creative relationship with our team, take ownership of a varied stream of design work, and help give each brand a distinctive digital presence. We’re open to starting with a paid internship or freelance work, with the potential to grow into a full-time role.

What you’ll work on

• Design websites, landing pages, and responsive layouts for Autumn and independent hotels.
• Create email designs and reusable templates for marketing, campaigns, and guest communications.
• Design social content, campaign assets, and templates for Autumn and our hotel customers.
• Develop visual directions through typography, color, imagery, and layout, keeping each brand consistent across channels.
• Build reusable design components, prepare organized files for implementation, and collaborate with our team from brief through delivery.

Who we’re looking for

A versatile designer with strong visual judgment, attention to detail, and a portfolio that shows a distinctive point of view. You’re comfortable in Figma or similar tools, designing for digital formats, taking feedback, and following through on agreed deadlines. Students, recent graduates, and emerging designers with strong portfolios are welcome. Experience with hospitality, travel, or lifestyle brands is a plus.

Compensation and location

• Freelance: competitive fees agreed based on scope.
• Potential full-time role: around $100,000 per year if the collaboration grows into a full-time position.
• Our office is in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Coming in is optional; the work can be completed remotely.
