Job summary

Branch Technology is seeking a Digital Design Specialist in Chattanooga, TN to support digitally manufactured architectural components. The role emphasizes 3D modeling, early design ideation, and producing shop drawings using Rhino, Grasshopper, and Revit.

You will collaborate with Sales and Design teams, coordinate with vendors and contractors, and help streamline digital workflows. Strong visualization, communication, and problem‑solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate and/or graduate degree in Architecture, Design, or related field.
• Proficiency in Rhino, Grasshopper, and Revit for parametric modeling.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling software (CAD, Maya, 3DS Max, SketchUp) and Adobe tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Ability to read, understand, and prepare construction documents including technical details.
• Demonstrated strong visual and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ideate schematic design solutions leveraging Branch’s core capabilities.
• Produce and deliver rendered presentations communicating design concepts.
• Enable clients to solve complex challenges with practical design solutions.
• Participate in meetings with qualified prospective clients to enable sales.
• Complete shop drawing submittals for production.
• Review and coordinate submittals with drawings and vendors.
• Produce digital shop tickets and drawings to support manufacturing.
• Coordinate design details with internal teams and external partners.
• Create and use digital tools to improve efficiency and automate tasks.
