Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Digital Delivery Specialist to manage digital model environments and deliverables across projects.

The role collaborates with Project Managers to generate the Digital Delivery Plan, set up server infrastructure, and ensure coordination across disciplines from initiation through closeout. The candidate should have 5+ years in digital design and 3+ years in digital delivery, with strong BIM, 3D coordination, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the digital model environment and deliverables for an entire project.
• Understand how disciplines interact and how construction documents are produced.
• Generate and maintain the Digital Delivery Plan (DDP) and manage deliverables.
• Initiate projects by setting up server infra, discipline models, and digital deliverables.
• Execute digital deliverables and support production teams through the project lifecycle.
• Provide technical support and communicate deliverable schedules to the team.
• Monitor model health and coordination processes from planning to construction documents.
• Guide project team members with minimal oversight from Digital Delivery Leads.
• Develop and maintain the Digital Delivery Plan and document management system.
• Ensure the team has appropriate software, versions, access, and training.
• Create and maintain model setup, including project info, coordinates, scales, and views.
• Maintain HDR standards and model health; host coordination meetings for Design Reviews.
• Communicate and compile all project digital deliverables at milestones; archive on submittals.
• Engage in effective communication with HDR management, production staff, and clients.

Digital Delivery Specialist

In this role you will:

• Manage the digital model environment and deliverables for an entire project.
• Have an advanced understanding of how all disciplines interact and how construction documents are produced.
• Work directly with the Project Manager to generate and maintain the Digital Delivery Plan (DDP), while managing the deliverables outlined withi
• Begin the project initiation procedure, establishing the server infrastructure, discipline models, and digital deliverables outlined in the project scope.
• Execute digital deliverables and support production teams throughout the complete lifecycle of projects.
• Provide technical support, while communicating the deliverable schedule to the project team.
• Maintain quality; this individual will monitor the model health and coordination processes of the project, from the planning phase thru issue of construction documents.
• Execute these tasks with minimal oversight by the Digital Delivery Leads and provide guidance to project team members.
• Develop and maintain the Digital Delivery Plan (DDP).
• Establish the document management system and maintain the server infrastructure for multi-discipline projects.
• Ensure the team has the appropriate software, versions, access, and training needed to execute the project requirements.
• Generate and maintain model setup including project information, coordinates, scales, orientations, scope boundaries, match-lines, views, sheets, and general models, to accommodate the disciplines and project requirements.
• Monitor and maintain company standards and model health.
• Host Digital Delivery coordination meetings with the project team to ensure optimal quality control through Design Reviews and 3D Coordination processes.
• Communicate, coordinate, and compile all project digital deliverables and exchange process at predetermined milestones.
• Project archiving at submittals and closeout.
• Engage in close and effective communication and presentations with HDR management, production staff, and clients.

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years digital design (BIM element authoring) and 3 years digital delivery (model management) experience.
