Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Digital Delivery Lead to drive BIM coordination and digital model management for multi-discipline projects in the Phoenix area.

The role requires advanced expertise in 3D design, document management, and coordination processes, with a strong emphasis on leadership, client service, and mentoring of team members. You will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure delivery excellence and maintain standards across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide direction for the Digital Delivery Coordinators and Specialists, manage the digital model environment and deliverables at the project level.
• Understand how all disciplines interact and how construction documents are produced.
• Work with the Project Manager to generate and maintain the Digital Delivery Plan (DDP) and project initiation procedure, establishing server infrastructure, discipline models and deliverables.
• Execute digital deliverables and support production teams through the full project lifecycle.
• Provide technical support and communicate the deliverable schedule to the project team.
• Maintain model health and coordination processes from planning through construction documents.
• Mentor and guide other team members, coordinating with Digital Delivery Leads.
• Oversee development and maintenance of the DDP and document management systems.
• Ensure software, versions, access and training meet project requirements.
• Create and maintain model setups including project information, coordinates, scales, orientations, views and sheets.
• Maintain company standards and model health.
• Host Digital Delivery coordination meetings with the Digital Design team for quality control.
• Communicate and compile all project digital deliverables at milestones.
• Archive projects at submittals and closeout.
• Engage with HDR management, production staff and clients; mentor staff and support project needs.

Digital Delivery Lead Responsibilities

• Provide direction for the Digital Delivery Coordinators and Specialists, along with managing the digital model environment and deliverables at the project level
• Possess an advanced understanding of how all disciplines interact and construction documents are produced
• Work directly with the Project Manager to assist the Coordinators and Specialists to generate and maintain the Digital Delivery Plan (DDP) and project initiation procedure, establishing the server infrastructure, discipline models, and digital deliverables outlined in the project scope
• Execute digital deliverables and supporting production teams throughout the complete lifecycle of projects
• Provide technical support, while communicating the deliverable schedule to the project team
• To maintain quality, this individual will monitor the model health and coordination processes of the project, from the planning phase through issue of construction documents
• Execute these tasks autonomously and also mentor and provide guidance to other team members
• Oversee and contribute to the development and maintenance of the Digital Delivery Plan (DDP)
• Monitor and oversee the establishment of the document management system and help maintain the server infrastructure for multi‑discipline projects
• Ensure the team has the appropriate software, versions, access, and training needed to execute the project requirements
• Generate and maintain model setup including project information, coordinates, scales, orientations, scope boundaries, match‑lines, views, sheets, and general models, to accommodate the disciplines and project requirements
• Monitor and maintain company standards and model health
• Host Digital Delivery coordination meetings with the Digital Design team to ensure optimal quality control through Design Reviews and 3D Coordination processes
• Communicate, coordinate, and compile all project digital deliverables and exchange process at predetermined milestones
• Project archiving at submittals and closeout
• Engage in close and effective communication and presentations with HDR management, production staff, and clients
• Mentor staff to help develop their skillsets
• Provide guidance for Project Managers to support project needs
• Engage with other Digital Delivery Leads to provide support and guidance
