Digital Delivery Principal Advisor - ( 184888 )

The primary responsibility of the Transportation Digital Delivery Services Senior Advisor is to plan, lead, and deliver Enterprise Digital Delivery Services projects on-time and on-budget for transportation clients. Typical tasks include preparing gap assessments, developing digital delivery and open data standards, drafting strategic and detailed implementation plans, facilitating workshops, and leading or assisting on applied research projects related to digital delivery. The advisor works in a team environment with other specialists.

Primary tasks include, but are not limited to:

  1. Assisting project managers with technical updates to manage budget, schedule, and quality
  2. Leading technical teams, preparing detailed tasks, reviewing deliverables
  3. Carrying out specific tasks to meet project goals based on expertise
  4. Participating in industry organizations like TRB, buildingSMART, or AASHTO
  5. Collaborating with internal teams and serving as technical liaison with clients
  6. Supporting marketing efforts, identifying opportunities, and leading pursuit proposals

Preferred Qualifications

  • Highly organized with multi-tasking ability under time pressure
  • Knowledge of software development processes related to digital delivery for highways
  • Strong communication, technical writing, and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Experience with industry standards on digital delivery
  • Active involvement in industry associations
  • P.E. license
  • Experience with openBIM workflows using buildingSMART standards
  • Skills to implement open data standards at enterprise level
  • DOT and local government experience
  • Experience in preparing presentations and proposals
  • Developing training programs for model-based digital delivery

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • At least 15 years as a consultant with extensive experience
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and follow-up skills
