Job summary

Digital Room LLC is seeking three Digital Cutter Operators for all shifts to set up, operate, and maintain laser cutting equipment for labels and related products. Expect handling diverse materials in a fast-paced production environment with emphasis on quality control and precise output.

Shifts include 1st, 2nd, and 3rd with varying hours and days; candidates must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Team-oriented with good communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Basic mechanical and computer skills.
• Experience with industrial laser cutting equipment preferred.
• Familiarity with manufacturing or print production environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor laser cutting machines to cut, engrave or mark materials.
• Set up machines, load materials, and adjust settings based on job requirements.
• Read and follow work orders, drawings, and production schedules.
• Inspect finished products to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Accurately document production output and report issues to supervision.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

The Digital Cutter Operator II is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining laser cutting equipment to produce high-quality labels and related products.

Shifts

• 1st Shift - 5:45am - 2:15 pm - Monday to Friday
• 2nd Shift - 1:45pm - 10:15pm - Monday to Friday
• 3rd Shift - 9:45pm - 6:15am - Sunday to Thursday

Key Responsibilities

• Operator and monitor laser cutting machines to cut, engrave or mark materials.

Working conditions

• Manufacturing and production setting.
• Warehouse light manufacturing environment.
• Temperature may vary. Suggested appropriate clothing for individual comfort.
• Exposure to machinery and moderate noise level.
• Use of required PPE.

Physical requirements

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs (50% of time).
• Able to stand for 8 hours.
• Walking and moving around work area (50% of the time).
