Job summary

NextDecade seeks a Contracts Specialist within Supply Chain to support sourcing, purchasing, and contract-management for Digital and Shared Services. You will handle software agreements, OEM master service agreements, and professional services contracts, ensuring cost effectiveness and policy compliance.

The role involves collaboration with internal stakeholders, contract review, spend analysis, and documentation maintenance in a professional office setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in category management, procurement or sourcing.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical and communication skills.
• Solid project-management and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support sourcing activities by identifying, evaluating and selecting suppliers.
• Prepare and process purchase orders, statements of work, and services.
• Conduct market research to benchmark pricing and trends.
• Coordinate procurement with internal stakeholders across functions.
• Assist in evaluations and analyses for cost-savings opportunities.
• Resolve supplier issues regarding quality, delivery, and invoices.
• Support spend analysis, budgeting and supplier performance tracking.
• Assist with contract review, maintenance and compliance monitoring.
• Maintain procurement documents per company policies and procedures.
• Contribute to process-improvement and special projects as assigned.
