Gray Media’s WITN News in Greenville, NC is seeking a dynamic full-time Digital Content Producer to lead our digital output. You will write AP-style stories, clip video, and publish content across web and social platforms.

You’ll collaborate with the newsroom, use analytics to guide daily decisions, and support receptionist tasks as needed. Prior newsroom and digital content producing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal/written communication and AP Style knowledge.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet daily deadlines.
• Solid understanding of social media and analytics.
• 1–2 years newsroom and digital content producing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Writes AP-style news stories daily for web.
• Clips video from newscasts to website stories and posts on social platforms.
• Sends breaking news and push alerts; ensures factual, grammatical, and legal accuracy online.
• Uses SEO practices and analytics to track trends and guide daily decisions.
• Communicates with producers to incorporate web and social elements into newscasts.
• Posts engaging content on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram; creates memes, videos, and graphics.
• Edits video with non-linear software; knowledge of EDIUS preferred.
• Greet Guests and perform receptionist duties as needed.
