Job summary

KATU/KUNP seeks an experienced Digital Content Producer to join our team in Portland. You will produce news stories across platforms, guided by analytics and audience needs, while embracing the fast-paced newsroom culture.

You will write, edit, publish, and optimize digital content for web, social, and video, collaborating with teams to ensure timely, accurate, and engaging coverage that meets editorial standards.

Qualifications

• Strong writing with editing skills; newsroom experience preferred.
• Knowledge of AP Style and newsroom standards.
• Create engaging digital and social media content.
• Basic photo editing; video production is a plus.
• Strong news judgment; gather information from multiple sources.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organization.
• Manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Adaptable, coachable, eager to learn.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

• Create digital-first and social media content that drives engagement and traffic.
