Pacers Sports & Entertainment is seeking a Digital Content Intern for Spring 2027 in Indianapolis, IN. The role supports ideation and creation for Pacers, Fever, Boom, and Gainbridge Fieldhouse across social channels, websites, apps, and media.

You’ll help with game coverage, copywriting, photo galleries, video highlights, and interviews. Enrolled students with strong writing and WordPress/Adobe skills are encouraged to apply, with in-office days and occasional game hours.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a college/university program as a junior, senior, or graduate student.
• Strong writing skills for social captions and content.
• Familiarity with WordPress for posting and updates.
• Familiarity with Photoshop or Premiere is a plus.
• Maintain professional, journalistic relationships with players and coaches.
• Availability to work 2–3 days in office per week plus evenings/weekends for games.

Responsibilities

• Assist coverage during Pacers, Fever & Boom games, including nights and weekends.
• Copywriting of social captions and content for channels.
• Curate photo galleries and highlights for team sites and distribution.
• Shoot and edit video interviews and highlights from practice and games.
• Capture social-style video with smartphones or cameras.
• Assist in covering practices and postgame media sessions.
• Transcribe press conference quotes for web content.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Internship Term: Spring 2027 (January - May)

Internship Location: On-Site in Indianapolis, IN

Anticipated Time Commitment: approximately 20 - 25 hours per week

The Digital Content Intern will assist in the content ideation and creation for Pacers Sports & Entertainment social channels, including Pacers, Fever, Boom, and Gainbridge Fieldhouse, as well as assist with game coverage, websites and apps, copywriting, graphics, practice interviews, publish photo galleries, video highlights and more.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Assist with coverage during Pacers, Fever & Boom games (including nights and weekends), inclusive of editing photo and video content.
• Assist in the copywriting of social captions.
• Curate photo galleries and highlights for team website and distribution among players.
• Shoot and edit video interviews and highlights from team practices and games.
• Shoot social-style video with high-end smartphones or more advanced cameras.
• Assist in covering practice and postgame media availabilities.
• Transcribe press conference quotes for web and social content.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Enrolled in college or university program as a junior, senior, or graduate student.
• Strong writing skills.
• Familiarity with WordPress.
• Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop or Premier required, both a plus.
• Ability to maintain professional, journalistic relationships with players and coaches.
• Ability to work two to three days in office per week, plus games during evenings and weekends.
