American Academy of Pediatrics is seeking a Digital Content Editor to translate complex medical and policy information into clear, engaging content for pediatricians and parents. The role supports grant-funded activities and reports to the Senior Managing Editor, with collaboration across teams and partners.

The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), the nation's leading advocacy organization for children's healthcare, is seeking a collaborative team player with strong writing and editing skills and experience working with authors, preferably focusing on translating complex medical and policy information into clear, engaging, and accessible content. This role will support and implement content strategies for pediatrician and parent audiences, including writing, editing, and managing digital content for AAP websites and other digital platforms; collaborate with internal teams and external program partners to implement grant and other externally funded activities; and deliver high-quality, mission-driven content that advances public health goals.

A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $70,368.96 - $74,278.36. Compensation decisions take into account a wide range of factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, certifications, geographic location, business needs, and organizational policies. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package which includes healthcare and retirement savings plans. The AAP does not use artificial intelligence (AI) to make employment decisions.
