Job summary

Mennonite Mission Network is seeking a creative and collaborative writer and editor to shape how we share stories and connect with audiences. You’ll coordinate editorial projects, manage the writing team’s workflow and create content for our website, social channels, campaigns, newsletters and PR.

You will help develop content strategies, build media relationships and coordinate freelance writers, with travel up to 20 days per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, public relations, journalism or related field.
• Five+ years of professional content writing, editing and digital communications experience.
• Strong writing, editing, project coordination and interpersonal communication skills.

You’ll also help develop content strategies, build media relationships and coordinate freelance writers.## Qualifications**What we’re looking for:*** A bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, public relations, journalism or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience* Five or more years of professional experience in content writing, editing and digital communications* Strong writing, editing, project coordination and interpersonal communication skills* Experience with WordPress, Mailchimp, Hootsuite, ClickUp, Canva, InDesign or similar tools* Marketing agency or comparable communications experience is preferred* Spanish-language fluency is a plus* Commitment to Jesus Christ and support for Mennonite Mission Network’s mission, values and anti-racism commitments* Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 20 days per year**Salary:** $48,000–$53,000 per year **Location:** Elkhart, Indiana, or Newton, Kansas preferred.
