We are seeking a Microsoft Azure Data Architect to join our team to help design, implement, and maintain cloud analytic solutions for our clients. You will be responsible for translating business requirements into technical specifications, creating and testing cloud architectures, and ensuring compliance with security and performance standards. Additionally, you will provide guidance and support to other cloud data engineers, report developers, data scientists, and collaborate with stakeholders across the organization.

Responsibilities
  1. Design and develop cloud analytic solutions using Microsoft Azure services, Fabric workloads, and broader technologies.
  2. Ensure adherence to best practices and standards for security, compliance, scalability, reliability, and performance.
  3. Document and communicate solution architectures to internal and external stakeholders.
  4. Establish and refine frameworks and tools for solution delivery, such as guardrails, automated reviews, and accelerators.
  5. Provide technical leadership and mentoring to business areas, technology partners, and other domain experts.
  6. Lead project delivery workstreams and teams.
  7. Mentor and coach other cloud engineers and developers.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  2. At least 10 years of experience in cloud computing, preferably with Microsoft Azure.
  3. Strong knowledge of Azure services and features, such as Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Azure Storage Accounts, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Azure Active Directory, Azure DevOps, Azure Monitor, etc.
  4. Strong knowledge of Fabric workloads and features, such as Power BI, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Semantic Model, Data Factory, Data Flow, Notebooks, Data Activator, Reflex, Deployment Pipelines, Workspace, Apps, etc.
  5. Proficient in cloud architecture design patterns and principles, such as microservices, serverless, etc.
  6. Experience in cloud migration, integration, and deployment.
  7. Certification in Microsoft Azure, such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Developer Associate, Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Data Engineer, Fabric Engineer, Power BI Data Analyst, Azure Data Scientist, etc.
  8. Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

The estimated base salary for this job is $145,000 - $170,000 USD. The total estimated compensation range, including annual incentives, is $166,750 - $212,500 USD. The job also offers benefits such as medical, dental, vision coverage, and wellness programs. Salary details comply with applicable laws regarding salary transparency.
