New York State Electric & Gas Corp (NYSEG) is seeking a Digital Communications Manager to lead omni‑channel customer communications with a primary emphasis on digital channels, content production, and campaign execution.

You will apply strong writing, content development, and analytics expertise to craft engaging content for Avangrid customer touchpoints, manage programs, and measure impact across channels.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, English, business, or related field with 7 years relevant experience required.
  • Demonstrated experience using digital analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to measure and optimize campaign performance.
  • Hands‑on experience creating and managing UTM parameters for campaign tracking.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with a concentration in digital communications initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead digital programs and projects for customer communications across Avangrid Networks, including the planning, development and execution for customer alerts, push notifications, web, email, and similar.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance digital communications through new channels, targeting strategies, and content approaches.
  • Own campaign performance measurement using tools such as Google Analytics and other digital analytics platforms. Analyze customer behavior, engagement, and conversion metrics to identify trends and actionable insights.
  • Develop and deliver recurring campaign reporting (campaign-level, channel-level, and executive summaries).
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align communications strategy with business goals and customer needs.
  • Delivers on-strategy, on-brand, on-time, on-budget results. Is the lead team member with respect to accomplishing day-to-day goals and provides expertise and immediacy of decision making.
  • Holds project team members accountable for results.

The salary range for this position is dependent upon experience and location, ranging from $87,600 - $109,500.

Job Summary

This role will function as a key player on a high-impact communications team responsible for creating and executing communications across a variety of channels, with a primary focus on digital communications. This includes omni-channel program creation and production and tracking of tactics. They will leverage their exceptional writing, content production, and digital communications expertise to develop knowledgeable and engaging content for Avangrid’s customer communications channels.
