The Digital Communications Manager works in the UC Irvine Law Communications Office, under the direction of the Assistant Dean for Communications, to implement web and social media strategies for the Law School by focusing on content development, brand enhancement and functionality implementation and maintenance. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring that UC Irvine Law’s digital content - including web, social media, graphics, photography, video and other emerging communication technologies - advance institutional goals and align with the brand. The Digital Communications Manager consults with administrative leaders and other professionals to develop strategies, programs, plans, metrics and content related to digital platforms. The Digital Communications Manager serves as a project manager for the completion of websites and webpages, and digital content campaigns on social media channels, ensuring that assets are effective, timely, accurate and on brand. This position plans, researches, writes and manages updates to content for the UC Irvine Law website and social media channels for all audience segments. Additionally, this position oversees the school’s web content and any webpages that become an institutional priority, working closely with the UC Irvine Law IT team and web designer to plan and execute high‑impact, accessible and dynamic web content. This role requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to collaborate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and departments, and the ability and drive to create high‑quality work in a variety of mediums.
