Job summary

WICHE is seeking a Digital Communications Coordinator in Boulder, CO to manage editorial content, email campaigns, social media, and web updates. The role supports two teams and requires strong writing and editorial judgment to translate complex topics for diverse audiences.

The position is full-time, non-exempt, immediately available for one year with potential extension, and reports to the VP of Communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communication, journalism, marketing, or a related field or equivalent experience.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with high attention to detail.
• Sound editorial judgment and ability to present content clearly across channels.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Content strategy and editorial stewardship across digital channels.
• Outreach and engagement with policymakers, educators, and partners to raise program awareness.
• Coordinate and edit email communications; monitor engagement metrics.
• Manage social media content and online presence for WICHE and SAN.
• Maintain and update web content, ensuring accessibility and branding consistency.
