Job summary

The International Women's Health Coalition (IWHC) seeks a communications associate to support a dynamic, fast-paced team. The ideal candidate will be a skilled communicator with a passion for digital storytelling and an eye for graphic design.

The associate will play a key role in growing IWHC's online voice and profile, ensuring the team's smooth operation, and supporting the creation of communications campaigns and products to further advocacy and fundraising goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, international relations, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in communications, marketing, or related field.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills with the ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail.
• Social media savvy with experience creating posts for company accounts; ability to learn new tools quickly.
• Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, Canva, or similar design tools.
• Multilingual skills (French, Spanish, and/or Portuguese) are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support IWHC's digital communications by planning, implementing, and disseminating social media campaigns across Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
• Assist in creating digital content and campaigns and updating website content including staff pages, blogs, and homepage features.
• Create and edit graphics, videos, email templates, and other online content for online platforms and printed publications.
• Design collateral materials for special events and inter-office use.
• Monitor analytics and maintain editorial calendars in coordination with the Communications team.
• Track news and assist with press lists, press releases, and journalist outreach.
• Provide administrative and logistical support to the communications team.
