Job summary

The Republic of Tea is seeking a Digital Commerce Content Specialist to own copy across both brands, managing descriptions, metadata, and content for ecommerce sites, email, catalogs, social, and paid media. You will ensure content is accurate, on-brand, and optimized for conversion.

You will collaborate with Marketing, Creative, Ecommerce, Regulatory, Sales, and agency partners to deliver high-volume content on schedule, balancing creativity with operational discipline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, Business, or equivalent experience.
• 0–2 years of experience in copywriting, content marketing, ecommerce content, or related role.
• Portfolio demonstrating strong consumer-facing writing across formats and brands.
• Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with a content management system, preferably Shopify or WordPress, and ecommerce SEO.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple assignments, stakeholders, SKUs, and deadlines.
• Ability to collaborate with creative, ecommerce, sales, product, regulatory, operations, and technical partners.

Responsibilities

• Copywriting and Brand Voice: write, edit, and proof copy for two brands while maintaining their distinct voice and audience expectations.
• Ecommerce and Product Content: own product content across brand sites, descriptions, metadata, and compliance details.
• Retailer and Syndicated Content: maintain copy in Syndigo across retail and wholesale partners; adapt content for marketplaces.
• Search, Editorial Planning, and Optimization: conduct keyword research, apply SEO/GA principles, manage editorial calendars.
• Project and Cross-Functional Support: support campaigns, launches, partnerships, and cross-functional teams; ensure timely delivery.
