Cloud Partner Recruitment & Activation

A Digital Channel Sales role is responsible for managing and optimizing relationships between Crayon (soon to be SoftwareOne) and our sales partners/channels, including distributors, software resellers, and other third-party entities that help sell our services.

We are building a brand-new team in Nashville, TN and welcome candidates at all levels—from new graduates to experienced sellers.

Please note: this role requires you to be in the downtown Nashville office 4 days a week.

Mission: Drive Partner Growth Through Scaled Digital Engagement

Your mission is to fuel channel growth by engaging, activating, and enabling partners through a digital-first, call center–driven model. You’ll leverage outbound campaigns, structured playbooks, and cross-team collaboration to accelerate partner adoption and cloud revenue.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Scaled Partner Recruitment & Relationship Management
    • Use digital engagement tools, inside sales motions, and campaigns to identify, attract, and recruit prospective cloud-focused partners in VAR, MSP, SI, and CSP communities
    • Articulate SoftwareOne’s and Crayon’s value proposition and managed services offerings to drive interest and sign-ups
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners through regular communication, support, and issue resolution
  • Partner Onboarding & Activation
    • Lead and coordinate onboarding using repeatable playbooks, processes, and scripts to ensure consistent messaging
    • Ensure new partners are enabled to transact and co-sell
    • Guide partners in positioning Crayon’s Intelligent Cloud and Managed Services
  • Sales Enablement & GTM Execution
    • Deliver training, tools, and joint sales plays to activate partners and accelerate time-to-revenue
    • Support partners in developing go-to-market plans and initial customer opportunities
  • Collaboration & Reporting
    • Collaborate across teams (pre-sales, customer success, marketing) to drive partner adoption
    • Use CRM and onboarding workflows; track KPIs tied to activities, pipeline, and results
    • Monitor partner performance and provide feedback and corrective actions as needed
  • Market Awareness
    • Stay informed about industry trends, partner business models, and competitor positioning; adjust sales strategies to remain competitive
What we need to see from you

What You Bring

  • For experienced sellers: minimum 3 years in channel sales, partner development, or technology sales
  • For those seeking a career change: experience in sales or customer service with a strong desire to move into technical sales
  • Proven ability to recruit and onboard new channel/cloud partners
  • Understanding of cloud business models (especially Microsoft, AWS, or managed services)
  • Experience in partner enablement and relationship building
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills

Target compensation for this role will be $85-$125k (base + bonus) and is determined by qualifications, experience, and location.
